Xidi and Hongcun are two outstanding traditional villages, located in Yi County, Huangshan City in south Anhui Province, with commercial activities as their primary source of income, family and clan-based social organization, and well known for their regional culture. The overall layout, landscape, architectural form, decoration, and construction techniques all retain the original features of Anhui villages between the 14th and 20th centuries.

Xidi Ancient Village-------is known for its unique and elegant wooden houses: the decorated walls, the black tiles, the decorative door towers… Most of the houses in the village were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. 124 of them are well preserved, being a vivid example of the architectural style of Anhui province.It is a Chinese Historical and Cultural Village,has also been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000. Thus, the village has become a priority site for heritage protection.

Hongcun Ancient Village--------can date back to the southern Song Dynasty with a history of 900 years. In 1131, it was home to members of the Wang clan with 13 traditional houses at the beginning. It flourished during the Ming (A.D. 1368 - 1644) and Qing (A.D. 1644 - 1911) dynasties when it became a trade center. Most of the buildings, like South Lake Academy, Lexu Hall, Chengzhi Hall, Sanli Hall, Shuren Hall from this period still exit in this village today.

Today, your guide will take you to the most famous scenic spot in Huangshan-Huangshan scenic area. The Suggested itinerary today as below: Drive to Huangshan Scenic Spot,Take cable car to Jade Screen Scenic Area,Greeting-Guests Pine,Lotus Peak,Xihai Grand Canyon,Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, Stay overnight at Summit.

Pick up from your hotel in the early morning (The tour guide will inform you of the pick up time in advance). Then, drive you to the Huangshan Scenic Spot.

Upon arrival, you will take the park bus from the mountain foot to Mercy Light Pavilion to take a cable car up to the Jade Screen Scenic Area. After a few minutes' walk, you will reach the Greeting-guests Pine. It is the landmark landscape of Huangshan and one of the symbols of Anhui Province. Here you can spend some time taking pictures with this most famous pine trees in China, and enjoying the beautiful view of the grandiose Celestial Capital Peak.

After an hour's walk, you will arrive at Lotus Peak, Lotus peak is the highest peak of Huangshan, with an altitude of 1864.8m. There are some bridges, plank roads and viewing platform on the lotus peak, which is undoubtedly the best place for photography. Here you will have an hour to stop and enjoy your lunch.

After lunch, walk for an hour and you will arrive at Xihai Grand Canyon, because of the high altitude, when you stand on the canyon, the clouds flow like a stream from the peak under your feet, so it is also called "White Cloud Canyon". The total length of Xihai Grand Canyon is 15km. Here you can take the photo according to your own preference and within the time allowed, and feel the most magnificent scenery of Mt.Huangshan. If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to enjoy the sunset at the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion.

Lastly, move to your hotel on the summit. Your guide will help you check in.

The sunrise of Huangshan has always been the dream of tourists. Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise. (But it may be affected by the weather, here is only a reference option, our guide will inform the relevant situation one day in advance).

After breakfast, you will visit Bright Summit, the second highest on the mountain and see a wonder of Huangshan - Flying-over Rock.
After the visit, take a cable car down to the mountain.
Our driver will pick up you from your hotel ,then transfer to the Airport or Train Station.
